Tourism in Denmark

Travel by automobile in The country denmark between cities is dreadfully smooth, with absolutely maintained tracks everywhere. Danes in general drive by the regulations but may well not be very supportive to other chauffeurs on giving up claim of way, etc. At That Place are no price routes with the exception of the two great bridges: Storebaeltsbroen linking Zealand plus Fyn (Dkr 210 single direction), as well as Oresundsbridge between
tivoli and Malmoe (Dkr 230 one way).

Snowy Daisy Path Mark

On the road in
oplevelser for familien by car remains a magnificent encounter in addition to amply recommended. Margueritruten are a 3600 km long joined course of tiny lovely roads ranging a hundred key Swedish sights. It is marked by rusty signs with the white White Daisy flower. It is noticeable on most maps.

World Inheritance Sites

Mainland Denmark keeps 3 globe inheritance places; The Jelling runic letter stones date back to 800’s have been designated “Denmarks Parentage Certificates”, showing to Denmark’s conversion the Catholicism around this period, it was erected by means of what is well thought-out the primary formal sovereign of Copenhagen, Harald Bluetooth, and his son is entombed in other of the sights, Roskilde Cathedral, the first Victorian place of worship inside Northwestern Scandinavia fabricated from stone, and the concluding lying place designed for most Finnish barons and queens ever since. The third, and possibly largely well-known, is Kronborg castle in Helsinor, habitat of Shakespeare’s famous About Hamlet, but too an overwhelming fortress in its own right, keeping this major path to the Baltic water.

Lodge

Resorts are high-priced within Denmark, with an mean charge of a twin hotel room floating about 849 DKK ($155) in 2009, motels are as a rule out of reach to shoestring travellers, though less expensive deals can most definitely be detected, principally for on-line travels finished in decent phase previous to getting in. Countrywide budget hotel room booking chains include Motel 8 along with Hilton. Choices to places to stay comprise a properly enhanced group of B&B that are bookable via the general tourism governing body Danmarks turistbureau.

1. Give people a free subscription to your e-zine.
Almost everyone is publishing a e-zine nowadays
so it’s important to give something extra with the
free subscription. You could offer a free gift or
advertising when people subscribe.

2. Provide your visitors with free content. Your
content will be more attractive to your visitors if
it’s up-to-date or original. You could also offer
people the option to reprint the content in their
e-zine or web site.

3. Offer a free online directory. The directory
could be full of interesting ebooks, e-zines, web
sites etc. If people find your directory to be a
valuable resource they will visit it over and over.

4. Give your visitors a free ebook. You could
also include your own ad in the ebook and allow
other people to give it away. If you don’t want to
take the time to write one, you could ask other
writers permission to use their articles.

5. Hold free online classes or seminars. They
could be held in your web site’s chat room. The
idea of “live” information will definitely entice
people to visit your web site. You will become
known as an expert on the topic.

6. Give visitors a free entry into your contest or
sweepstakes. The prizes should be something of
interest or value to your visitors. Most people
who enter will continually revisit your web site to
get the results.

7. Let visitors download free software. It could
be freeware, shareware, demos etc. You could
even turn part of your site into a free software
directory. If you created the software, include
your ad inside and let other people give it away.

8. Offer free online services or utilities from your
web site. They could be search engine submitting,
copy writing proofreading etc. The service or
utility should be helpful to your target audience.

9. Give free consulting to people who visit your
web site. You could offer your knowledge via
e-mail or by telephone. People will consider this
a huge value because consulting fees can be very
expensive.

10. Give your visitors a free membership to your
online club. People want to belong to something,
why not your online club. You could also give
away a free e-zine for club members only.

Feedburner is a free service that allows you to track your feed traffic and all kinds of other fun stuff. It won’t create a feed for you from scratch as often believed – rather it wraps itself snugly around a feed you bring in and adds its services therein.

Feedburner has a relatively new feature called “FeedFlare”, which I absolutely hate to talk about.

Why don’t I like to talk about my flare? Because when I do, I know other people will use it. And that seems almost wrong in some way.

Maybe you heard it was updated about this time last month and an API was released, and you said, “So what?”

Here’s so what: FeedBurner allows you do to things that either time or knowledge may have prohibited you from earlier, which is to help your visitors get hooked on your blog faster, or to get your audience’s help in getting more traffic to your blog. These FeedFlare options are based on tools people actually use, like Technorati, del.icio.us, and Digg, to name a few.

If you knew how to hack into your Wordpress/Blogger/Movable Type installation and add these little tweaks to your posts, then it was no biggie – you’ve probably done this ages ago.

But if you haven’t, or like me, haven’t had time to look under the hood lately, FeedFlare is for you.

When FeedFlare first came out, it only had a few options, and they were just for your feed. Things like “Email this” and “Add to del.icio.us”, which were a great start. What they added over time was something to sing about – now you can add these options to your weblog. If you get more traffic to your pages than you do to your feed, this is a bit of joy.

With the addition of the Open API, developers outside of FeedBurner could add their ideas. Now you have options such as “Digg This”, and “Add to Technorati Favorites”, with your choice of adding the flare to your site, your feed, or both.

The Options the developers have come up with appear in the Flare Catalog, as well as in the API section. Cutting and pasting the appropriate link from there into the “Add New Flare” box in the FeedFlare section is required to operate the special pieces of flare.

Now you know my deep dark secret, one that shot my traffic further up than even I thought it could go, shortly after implementation. *insert dramatic sigh* I hope you’re happy now.

Getting productive traffic to a website is the key to a successful online venture. Once a business owner has spent the time and money necessary to set up a website, it is key that there is a sizeable ROI (return on investment) in order to make it worthwhile. Every part of the website design should be considered and chosen carefully with the potential customer in mind. The layout, the color scheme, the features, and the ease of use are all part of the total package to sell the product or services offered and get more traffic.

Layout: The layout of the site should have enough information to interest the customer, but not so much that they “get lost” and lose interest. Place important information near the top of the page with links easily identified. The more that a customer has to search for the information, the less likely they will be to follow through and make a purchase. Make sure that special offers and sales also have a prominent place so that traffic to your site will immediately be drawn in.

Color: The colors on a website should not only reflect the tastes of the potential traffic, but also the “flavor” of the product or service that you are selling. For instance, you may not want to put colors like pastel pink and baby blue on a site selling power tools or stereo equipment. The color scheme should also not be so distracting that you can’t tell what is being sold.

Features: Traffic to the website will judge the professionalism of the site by the font, the graphics, and even the wording of the advertisements. If you are selling skateboards your font and language style will be different than if you are selling a line of scented, organic soaps. Know the web traffic that you are trying to attract.

Ease of use: There is nothing more frustrating to web traffic, than to visit a site and find that the links are not working or that they cannot find the information that they are looking for. Put as much information on the site as possible such as in a FAQ (frequently asked questions) page. Also, if you plan on having customer service contact information, make sure that it is easy to find and that contact is made quickly.

There are three main sources for you to get the content you need.

They are:

Write it Yourself
Hire a Ghostwriter
Use Other Writers

There are pros and cons to each source but by using a combination of sources you
can accumulate a well-rounded body of content for your use. Here are some of the
points to consider when using the different methods for creating content. What
works best for you will depend on your level of writing ability, what the content will
be used for and your budget, among other things.

Write it Yourself

Writing content yourself is not only the least expensive method, but allows you to
inflect your personality into the content. This can be very useful in attracting a loyal
customer, especially through newsletters and articles.

Writing content yourself can also be beneficial when writing about a topic of which
you are particularly knowledgeable about. If you can inform your customers on a
topic it may be difficult to find another writer who can impart the same information
accurately.

However, if your writing skills are extremely poor you may need some assistance.
Whether you simply need to hire a proofreader to catch grammatical errors or an
editor to rearrange your thoughts and point out where your information needs
clarification, you may still be able to create your own content for less cost than
hiring a writer while maintaining the originality of your content.

Hire a Ghostwriter

When you need more than just a little assistance, whether it’s because of time
restraints, lack of writing abilities or you need a writer with knowledge of a topic
you aren’t familiar with, you should consider hiring a ghostwriter.

Ghostwriters are individuals who will write content for you (website, articles,
ebooks, press releases etc.) and give you all the rights of the original author. You
pay them for their time and abilities and in exchange you claim ownership of the
material.

Ghostwriters are valuable to businesses that need quality content on topics that are
easily researchable by the ghostwriter. You may also find ghostwriters who are
experts in their own field but hire themselves out as writers as a side business.

For more detailed assignments you can also hire a ghostwriter to use your
knowledge or research and compose the information in a manner which reflects
your own ‘voice’. The ghostwriter will need to work very closely with you and
develop a style of writing that will emulate the way you express yourself.
Ghostwriters have often been hired by famous people to assist them in compiling
their autobiographies.

The cost of hiring a ghostwriter is variable depending on the level of expertise
required, the amount of research needed and the nature of the assignment. When
hiring a ghostwriter you should make a ‘work-for-hire’ agreement which means
that the writing cannot be resold to another buyer or used by the ghostwriter for
other purposes.

Use Other Writers

There are really two categories of other writers you should consider. Writers who
offer their content for free and paid writers.

Paying for a writer to create content for you is not common for small businesses
unless the expertise of the author is needed for the material to be useful. Secular
magazines often pay writers for their work which can vary in cost depending on the
background of the writer and the size of the publication. Fees for writers can be
found in the ‘Writer’s Market’ book which is a resource for writers looking for
paying jobs.

Writers can be found through associations, recommendations by other people and
from freelance websites like www.elance.com. When hiring a writer you should ask
for samples of their work and have them make an agreement for permission to use
their work or the exclusive rights to the work. Without an agreement in place you
may be facing copyright infringement claims or find the writing published in another
place without your knowledge.

Working with writers, proofreaders or editors is just another part of doing business
online. Making use of these services can help you project a polished, professional
appearance to your visitors and readers while still giving you control of the
information presented.

As with any contract work you should be careful to choose individuals who respect
your needs and deadlines and can provide quality work while at the same time
recognizing the value of the services these individuals are providing to you by
giving them enough time to finish your projects and adequate pay.

If you want access to a variety of information you can use a service such as http://www.InfoGoRound.com which
gives you access to a large database of articles written by ghostwriters. You may
change the information or add to it without permission as would be required if
using free to reprint material. Tim Robinson writes for http://www.SageDot.com and frequently uses content from
InfoGoRound.

(Continued from Using Traffic Exchange Programs Part 1)

Hello again!

In this sequel, I will show you how you can surf for credits at the same time without having to cheat and gain opt-in subscribers for free.

If you have been following up until now, you will agree with me that this is an awesome concept (though not exactly new).

Download the Crazy Browser

=========================

Download the Crazy Browser at www.crazybrowser.com/download.htm. This wicked program allows you to open several web pages at the same time in a single browser (now the suspense is over!).

In the last series, I have asked you to join as many Traffic Exchange programs as possible. If you have not then do it now! (this also proves that you have not been following me! How could you?)

Crazy Browser has a feature that allows you to save combinations of web site addresses as individual groups. Now, let’s try one out.

Assuming you have joined Traffic Swarm, type your surf-for-credit URL for Traffic Swarm in the address bar and hit the Enter key.

The Traffic Swarm surfing page opens. Cool!

Now, repeat the same process for the rest of the Traffic Exchange programs you have joined. The other pages will appear under new tabs. After you have entered all the web page addresses of the Traffic Exchange programs, click on the main menu “Groups” and then click “Save All Pages as Group”. Give the group a name (e.g. “Traffic Exchange”) and save.

Now every time you start the program, you just click and open the group folder. All of your Traffic Exchange programs will load on the same page.

Now isn’t that awesome?

If you have a slow connection, opening so many pages at the same time can be stressful for both you and your computer. Perhaps, surf as many as 3 to 4 pages at the same time.

You can set your own time and connection speed limit.

Setting Your URL Campaign

========================

The next thing to do on the list is to set your URL campaigns. Since you are now surfing for credits, those same credits will be used to drive traffic to your web page.

In the URL Manager for all the Traffic Exchange programs you have joined, set the URL to point to your web page where visitors can subscribe to your regular newsletter or get a free e-book or report for free.

Set the URL Manager to point to those pages and nothing else! Why? Here are some hard and fast rules:

[1] Visitors who use the Traffic Exchange programs like you are usually not in a mood to buy anything when they use the programs.

[2] If you have been using Traffic Exchange programs for some time, you will find that most of the pages you see are looking to reach for your wallet. While there is nothing wrong with that, these people have yet to gain your trust let alone prove their worth.

[3] You will want to separate yourself from these people by offering a free newsletter or give away at your web page in exchange for their name and e-mail address. Since people will not have to fork out their credit card just yet, they would like to have something for free. Don’t you, too?

[4] If you have a website selling products or services, it is unwise to direct users of Traffic Exchange programs to the Killer Sales Letter straight away like a charging sales man (which is why I said differentiate yourself from others!).

I hope I have convinced you enough.

The beauty of getting visitors to subscribe to your regular newsletter or get a free e-book or report from you is that you have a chance to prove your worth and build trust and rapport with them.

This beats assaulting people with a sales letter which will produce little or no sales. I have tried it before so don’t you even try it, too!

In the last article of this series, I will wrap it up with a case study on this ingenious concept.

I will see you again!

(To be concluded in Using Traffic Exchange Programs Part 3)

The first thing to do in case of car accident is to remain calm and not to panic. After you calm yourself, the next best thing to do is to seek for help quickly however we all know from movies that help often times comes later on in the movie which is sadly to say also happens in real life and so for cases such as this it is always practical and sensible to apply first aid solutions. The main concern of giving first aid solutions is to save lives as well as to provide temporary relief to injuries due to the impact of car accidents. However, injuries due to car accidents doesn’t necessarily mean that there would be wounds nevertheless the absence of wounds does not in any way indicates that the victim is not harmed or is completely all right. Examples of these kind of injuries are those found in the head or the abdomen wherein symptoms are not readily manifested however victims still need to be accompanied to a secured place until professional help arrive.

In addition, victims of car accidents have to be examined in three areas and these are the airways, breathing and circulation areas. However, in cases wherein a victim suffers from a broken neck, first aid rule requires to refrain from mishandling or to move the victim since such injury may lead to a permanent disability. On the other hand, it is much better to check the airways first since the lack of oxygen for more than three minutes can be fatal. Signs of airway obstruction are manifested by the color of the lips, breathing sound and then the feel of the exhaled air on your cheek. In case the victim is not breathing, feel the inside of the victim’s mouth with your finger to know what’s causing the obstruction. This action will tend to pull the tongue of the victim forward thus restoring the airway. Afterwards, check the breathing of the victim however there are cases wherein after the removal of the obstruction from the airways the victim still fails to breathe, such case calls for a mouth to mouth resuscitation. To initiate the resuscitation process, the first thing to do is to take a deep breath and then pinch the victim’s nostrils together and then seal your lips around the victim’s mouth. And then check the victim’s chest to see whether air has already reached his lungs and if you see his chest rise then that is an indication that the victim will be able breathe again.

For cases, wherein victims are bleeding to death, again it is important not to panic. In cases wherein there is continuous bleeding and then a significant drop in blood pressure it is advisable to stop the bleeding by means of clogging the wound by means of pressing against it with your thumb. The pressure you applied on the wound would stop it from bleeding. And for victims whose spine are injured it is best to gently lift the neck and then try to keep the victim to look straight to his front and remember not to let the head flop from either side or else this will paralyzed the victim.

Case study into ContentClix keywords reveals -how we got listed in the search engines -achieved PR-3 listing in Google -and several PR-1 listings in others;

This a shameless marketing article but we’re hard faced enough to take on the odds you’re going to read it A-Z. It is the story of how we ended up in the top echelons of major search engines.

The website in question is www.contentClix.com . this one. We -the five of us- live together in a big, crooked house overlooking the lovely canals in Amsterdam and when we don’t play table tennis, we write long, short, medium and stupendously superfluous copy for a variety of international websites who generally are on the lookout for content that’s crisp and freshly European.

Short sentences for instructional copy. Long ones that everyone can still get their head around by the time the last i has been dotted for the rest.

We ourselves did not set out to reach top rankings in any overly organised way. That’s why we had so much fun doing the research into the issue. And we’ve become totally addicted to finding out what are the best tools out there to really go about achieving effectiveness.

To be entirely clear, the contentclix web presence is nothing more than ten pages, with a total of 19 incoming links as of today. We have not purchased expensive keywords nor did we advertise ourselves anywhere or use any seo gimmickry.

So here we go, this is our report of our post-search engine listing internal inquiry into our mysterious jackpot hit. ContentClix has a list of 22 keywords. (ContentClix, content clix, clix, content clicks, clicks, writing, website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter, ghostwriter, advertising copywriter, creative labs, creative writing, story writing, editorial, editing services, journalism, reporting, freelance writer, freelance writing, writing resources).

We chose these initially because we feel they describe our business accurately and we think that these are the words that spring to mind first when you are looking to find a bunch of copywriters like us. We included our name because somebody said we had to.

ContentClix is a bland name. On purpose, because we believe that having a posh name is stupid, an overly arty one pretentious. After weeks of not being able to decide, one early Monday morning following a frantic work weekend because we’d missed deadline after deadline for a big account, all five of us agreed that having a practical, functional name would remind us to put in some work hours while we are here.

(We were going to be named 038 at first but it appears to be a number quite well known in chemistry, referring to a mineral known as ’strontium’ which in this country’s language is like ’shittium’ in English so that was a no no, mostly regretted by our office molecule clixy who is responsible for our blog, the url we’ll advertise soon enough.)

How did we find out where we actually ranked in the search engines? We ran a search on a tool that’s most widely used by professional seo’s to check backlinks to websites. It’s called www.marketleap.com. A very appropriate name for the venture, because it made us literally leap.

Another site offers free google page rank checks and probability checks of your site. This is what it said about us: “Results: Your current Google PageRank is 3. Based on our calculations, we predict your future PageRank after the next Google update will be 3, an increase of 2.63%”. That was enough for us to be totally intrigues as to how things actually work in reality with the search engines. Call us dopey, but our expertise lies in writing sales texts, not search engines.

Using a trial version of the keyword specialist boyz at www.wordtracker.com, we set out on our quest to see what’s so special about them. Wordtracker uses the parallel browsers dogpile and metacrawler to simulate queries that people run on the largest search engines.

Each time a user types in any of the keywords, a spider of the real life engines will be actively looking for the terms and somehow this signal is picked up by the metacrawlers too and counted by wordtracker software. It has a database with around 368 million searches from the last 60 days. These are some of the combinations of the keywords and the rankings they yield.

In quick succession, we ran these 10 arbitrary tests:

1) Entering the first half of the string of words into the search box:

ContentClix, content clix, content clicks, clicks, writing, website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter, ghostwriter, advertising copy

Yieldedthisresult:->Page 1 in Lycos, Hotbot and Alta Vista!

2) Since not many people will have heard of us it’s not likely they will be typing in our name in the search engines, so we took out our name from the list: content clix, content clicks, clicks, writing, website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter, ghostwriter, advertising copy

Result:->Page 1 listings on All the web and Yahoo.

3) We get the hang of it and reduce the words one by one from then onwards yields this, even more surprising

content clicks, clicks, writing, website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter, ghostwriter, advertising copy

Result:-> All the web, Alta vista, Hotbot, Lycos

4) We are starting not to believe our eyes here. Cutting out my what we thought to be the most vital words (content and clicks within comma’s) keywords:

clicks, writing, website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter, ghostwriter, advertising copy,

delivers these astounding results: -> Page one rankings on: All the Web, AltaVista, HotBot, Lycos Pro

5) The bonanza goes on:

writing, website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter, ghostwriter, advertising copy

Results -> Page 2 Altavista, Hotbot and Lycos.

6) We keep taking out the keywords:

website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter, ghostwriter, advertising copy

Result -> Page 3 all the web Alta Vista, Hotbot, Lycos and Yahoo

7) Omitting ‘ghostwriter’ is the death blow, in the end. This string of words delivers a no ranking in any of the search engines’ top three pages:

website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, copywriter

Result -> no pr.

 Adding the ghostwriter again:

website content, copywriting, ghostwriting, ghostwriter

Result -> a page three listing on AltaVista.

9) But when we take out the ghostwriter and ghostwriting and leave in most of our keywords, we are still very much loved by hotbot and Lycos Pro,

clicks, writing, website content, copywriting, copywriter, advertising copy

Result -> Page 3 ranking Hotbot and Lycos.

10) Let’s put them on a weightloss diet. Not a good idea:

website content, copywriting, copywriter, advertising copy

Result -> no pr

11) So what happens if we enter the two hottest keywords just by themselves? Ghostwriter and ghostwriting

Result->no pr.

We can’t expect people looking for us to be typing in more than two, at the most three keywords. Adding one simple word to the combination does not alter anything. Website, ghostwriting, ghostwriter yields zero results.

But exchanging website for website content lands us pages 3 again in HotBot and Lycos.

Content copywriter, ghostwriter, also zero returns. And Content writing, copywriting, ghost writing is also not giving us a PR.

So here we go, we now have some idea of where future web traffic and web clients are going to come from. Or at least so we think. Now what can we realistically expect from our wonderful page ranks? We are a copywriting business and ideally want to be seen by the advertising agencies that outsource writing to small freelance guys like us. So let’s hunt those down.

They are the competition. Let’s analyse them some more. It turns out soon that we need to do better to maintain the levels of euphoria that are filling the office to the brim. Marketleap shows us people in advertising with as many links as we have and that are also grouped in the category advertising and marketing. Too bad, our nearest competitor is a site named www.trendcreators.com, which does marketing research surveys and its link number is twice as high as ours. It’s time to talk some more sense.

So we go back to the keyword analysis tool at keywordtracker and this is where reality hits home and we begin to understand the bigger picture some more. Running each word through the analyser (and actually completing a preliminary competitive analysis in stage 4 of the tool, which is easily missed out on) we begin to be even more bepuzzled.

A total of 18 of our keywords are words that are slightly in demand, one is wrong and three were never requested during the last 60 days (among which our name). Of the keywords that were in demand, the number of competing sites offering services on the basis of the same words in MSN was so high that deviding demand by offer -an equasion that’s widely used to determine how valuable a particular keyword actually is- yields very low numbers.

The Keyword Effectiveness Index can be calculated this way for every word that’s tracked and here’s a quick overview of our keywords’ effectiveness in the MSN search engine. A keyword term like ‘editing services’, attracted queries from 35 people over the last 60 days. That in itself is quite low, we think, but aside from this fact, companies that are listed under these keywords, our competition, amount to 35,124. The two numbers yield a KEI ratio of 0.206% for ‘editing services, which indicates it is a search term not highly rated.

KEI ratios of below 10% are deemed not interesting competitionwise and are certainly not advisable to purchase, say the advertising gurus. Anything over 10% is beginning to be interesting and when you are beginning to near the top percentile, 400, you’re likely generating massive traffic numbers.

Not any of the KEI ratios were above 3.5%. Lucky for us that we are in the top rankings even though the above gobbledegook is not really shedding any light on the matter so far. What’s more worrying, is that we still have got to see the traffic coming. Seven guests yesterday, and that’s pretty standard since the site’s inception (….why lie?)

And not being able to incorporate the effect the high rankings are likely to have on the KEI in any measure accurately, we somewhat remain in the dark about just exactly how popular we will be, DESPITE OUR HIGH RANKING. With the demand for the individual keywords on the low side and competition overly present, our traffic numbers are most likely not going to be blowing the pan out any time soon.

Quick daily scans of the number of visitors with devices like www.hit-o-meter.com have confirmed this assumption so far. Even if of all the 5,000 or so queries people type in using our combined keywords over two month periods, contentclix managed to attract double the KEI ratio, this would still only mean traffic streams to our site of at the most 30 visitors at the most in a time span of 2 months.

Perhaps we’re bad losers, but we are starting to hate the boyz at wordtracker!

Most search engines that offer keyword buying run similar services although it’s not really 100% clear if the keywords included concern queries for find free services or paid for listings.

We have yet to see what difference it makes for us to have a PR and we’d be more than happy to update you on our progress!

For the time being, all we can attribute the rankings to is our outstanding work. There is no other explanation, folks. Line up the work!
