How to Handle YourJob Interview
To ensure your job interview success and career growth, you have to learn what is expected of you in your interview:
To begin with, be punctual. First impressions count, and you can’t afford to turn up late. Make a plan of how you are going to come to the interview centre 10 to 15 minutes ahead of time. That way, you won’t be so worried as you enter the interview.
Dress fittingly for the interview. The way you present yourself is important component of how you manage your notion. You have to appear to be the most capable job interview candidate who has turned up that day.
Do not distract from the notion that you are trying to create. Turn off your mobile phone and take off his sunglasses.
Introduce your self with confidence. Smile and enunciate your name confidently as you shake the interviewers hands with a decent grip. If you smile, you will appear confident to the interview panel – even if you don’t feel it.
Look at your interviewer, eye to eye, when you are answering their questions. do not stare, but appear confident. If you find yourself interviewed by a board, devote 80% of your eye contact to the board member, who asked you the question and turn your head occasionally to the remaining interview panel members.
Use open body language, to have an empowering effect on the interview board. Be aware of how you behave and try to avoid any unfhelpful, non verbal messages. Sit up in your chair, but lean forward slightly. Do not fiddle with your hands or hair. Try to avoid habits such as repetitive, foot tapping or tongue clicking. do not think that you shouldn’t be stressed – you will be. Just try to hide it.
With a bit of luck, these strategies will help you be successful in your job job interview.
