What have I been reading recently, What I think around twitter and why blogging is the best.
I have been noticing a lot of great new blogs of late. I am not sure about all the twitter stir. I still love blogs and have a sizeable number in my feed reader.
The key part of blogs is that you can find hidden treasures, and they are from individuals that in reality like to put pen to paper.
Sure you can discover some groovy souls on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for masses with add or who dont like to write genuine posts. Yes, lots of people twitter and also blog, and those souls are chill by me, but I am forever and everlastingly a blog lover.
Blogs squeeze the author to actually articluate their view. Twitter by comparison merely allows for you to submit it. Call me old fashioned but I imagine there is a point where smaller is no longer best. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Particularly when it comes to technology. Certainly there has to be a point where we take in substance matters. Value matters. What do you believe?
Maybe the genuine answer rests in equilibrium. And compromise. You cannot push people to have heart and soul and not be shallow. But, too possibly you need to drive the navel gazing hippies to lighten up a bit aswell?
