Broadband, Free Laptop Increasing in Popularity
Despite the never ending stories of doom and gloom spreading through the high streets and shopping malls of the country that is seeing the end of long established household name stores such as Woolworths and MFI, one sector of the retail market is proving that it can buck the trend of declining sales. For most of the major providers broadband free laptop “sales” are proving to be the magic formula that is keeping away the threat of a massive decline in sales that has swept through the high street chains of the UK. Realistically this is hardly surprising that in the present economic climate companies like Marks & Spencer and Debenhams can do little to entice shoppers into their stores even when offering sales on many of their highly popular items. Computer stores and other outlets that are offering free laptop packages with mobile broadband connections are seeing a massive boom in sales over the past few weeks despite the chilling economic problems hitting nearly every sector of the retail industry. Of course the mobile broadband providers have a massive advantage; other retailers are not in a position to give away their goods for free. A near unique situation that allows these companies to give away free laptops in return for a relatively short-term commitment from customers simply does not apply to other sectors of the retail market.
